Nothing says “Happy New Year” like a little nostalgia. 2022 was one for the books. We saw our PSE team grow, launched exciting new sound effects libraries and software features, and got a chance to help thousands of creators dive deeper into their passion for sonic exploration.

Web App Launch

The beta version of our web app is live at app.prosoundeffects.com – this is the new place to buy individual sounds from the entire PSE Library. This is the first step toward a unified Pro Sound Effects platform.

Halloween Sound Design Contest

Our spookiest event of the year was our first ever Halloween Sound Design Contest. We had over 200 entries from talented sound designers around the world, with the top 10 entries judged by Academy Award®-winning sound artist Mark Mangini (Dune, Mad Max: Fury Road).
