Update your phone wallpaper with some of our favorite spectrogram images created with sound effects in CORE 2.
We recently released CORE 2 – the first ever update to our best-value general library product line. CORE delivers an inspiring, go-to sonic resource for sound artists by bundling our highest quality sound libraries for less than ever.
Many of the libraries included in CORE are curated from The Odyssey Collection – our exclusive collaboration with Academy Award®-winning sound artists Mark Mangini (Mad Max: Fury Road) & Richard L. Anderson (Raiders of the Lost Ark) developed from their private lifetime library. The PSE Editorial Team logged over 20,000 hours developing Odyssey to make it as intuitive, useful, and inspiring as possible for sound artists everywhere.
One important tool we used while working with the raw recordings was iZotope RX – where we could visualize each sound and diagnose problems very quickly – cleaning only when necessary to preserve as much of the original recordings as possible.
With the collection's immense scope and rich sonic character, we found many of the sounds to be visually remarkable in the RX spectrogram as well.
We have edited 10 of our favorite spectrograms and made ready-to-use phone wallpapers. Scroll down and choose your favorites to save, or download them all at once here:
