This time it's the Sonic Arts Awards 2014 with their second annual contest aimed at the production and promotion of sonic arts at an international level. First prize (€1,000.00) in the competition's four categories went to the following entrants: **Sound Art: ** David Hochgatterer - Time To X **Sonic Research:**  Matija Strnisa - Particles of Accordeon **Soundscapes:**  Anna Raimondo - La vie en bleu **Digital Art****:**  Tim Murray-Browne - The Cave Of Sounds **Two-week residencies** were awarded to Matteo Marangoni at [Cardelli & Fontana Contemporary Art Gallery](https://www.facebook.com/cardelliefontana/timeline) in Sarzana and also to Eli Keszler at [Caos Museum](http://caos.museum/) in Terni. The **Label Prize **was awarded to Duane Pitre by [FRATTO9 Records](http://www.fratto9.com/). Pitre will release an album to be included in the label's catalogue.
