We’re excited to announce our partnership with the newest PSE Sound Artist, Dave Whitehead. With credits on iconic films like Dune (parts 1 and 2), Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, and Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Whitehead brings a wealth of high-level experience and an ear for cinematic sound design to the PSE roster.
Based in New Zealand, Dave Whitehead is a multidisciplinary sound designer and composer with more than 30 years of experience. He has received many prestigious industry awards and nominations for his work, including six MPSE Golden Reel Awards for films like District 9 and They Shall Not Grow Old, a News & Documentary Emmy Award for Good Night Oppy, and an Australian Screen Sound Guild Award for The Power of the Dog. Dave runs White Noise Ltd. with his wife and fellow sound designer Michelle Child.
