GDC 2014 Wrap-Up

Written by Jeremy Siegel | Mar 26, 2014 4:21:54 PM

I was out at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco last weekend, and boy did I have me a blast! It was great to meet new and interesting people and see some familiar faces in the game audio world. But by far the highlight of the week was getting to meet, in-person, so many people who I've known only via phone, email, and social media up until now.

Notably, there were long-time clients, Ben Minto (EA Dice), and Jay Watford (Riot Games). Not to mention an absolutely STELLAR showing by PSE Hybrid Library owners! I had the pleasure of spending some time with Andy Lackey (Wabi Sabi Sound), Richard Ludlow (Hexany Audio), and Martin Kvale (Krillbite). And big ups to Richard and fellow HL Owner Chris Rickwood (Rickwood Music) for their Audio Track Session talks, and Robin Arnott (Wraughk Audio Design) for his featured independent game!

Thanks again to all for taking the time to hang with me - until next time!

And on that note... we'll be at NAB in a couple weeks as well - shoot me an email at jeremy@prosoundeffects.com to set a meeting.
